My profile
I studied Translation and Interpreting with an English-Spanish combination, and Russian as an additional language. At the moment I work primarily with English, and occasionally with Basque.One of the things I like most is educating myself and learning new things, and I try to do so whenever I have the time, both with free and regulated courses. I am currently studying French, and I have an intermediate level. I am also taking a course on Proofreading in Spanish.Regarding my interests, localization is one of the areas that stands out for me, together with subtitling and literary translation. I took a curse called “Localization of software and mobile applications” via Trágora formación, which broadened my interest in this area.Moreover, I am also a writer. I am currently writing my second novel, together with my co-author.
Experience
For the last three years, I have been working as an English teacher in an academy.Regarding translation, I have experience with texts related to programming and coding. Moreover, I work with a printing house in adapting comics which are in the Argentinian variant into Spanish from Spain.I have also taken part in TedTalks, subtitling some of their videos.
